Kinda.... hit myself in my...um..."cash & prizes" with my M4 front sight post. Using a one-point sling & transitioning to sidearm CQB during training. Luckily I hit the deck first & cushioned my rifle's fall.

i never cried but i was pissed when i dropped my mauser the first time.. then i realized.. no one can tell since its a battle rifle

Yeah I was on a deer drive and fell with my rifle. Put a dent in my leupold scope and scratched the wood on my remmy 700. I felt sick but these things happen.

Had a course of fire set up the involved engaging targets during a 70 foot rappel. Yep, you guessed it, 60 foot drop in the gravel. That got me over that "new shiny gun feeling". Just had to remind myself that they are tools, no more, no less.

Be safe (and use a lanyard).

I have not dropped a gun yet... knock on wood, but i do recall the one and only ding i put it my Baritone Saxophone. I think a small part of me died that day seeing as how that horn cost me $5,500. Still plays just fine but the ding looks me right in the eye every time i take it our of the case.

Ive got a knick or two from OCing in my serpa and bumping into things. At first it really pissed me off and I spent 2 hours trying to make it go away. Whatever, it's my gun, and I love it nomatter what it looks like (good line for pregnant girlfriends).
