336c Marlin
Has anyone seen a Marlin 336c in 30 30 any where? I found a Contender barrel and its wonderful. I`ve called Marlin twice and still have not got a reply about production.

Re: 336c Marlin
I havent seen a Marlin 336C in a long time, Since the sale of Marlin they are still not back on thier feet Completely, .
If you dont mind a Winny Weaver's got a Nice 1894 in 30-30 and one in .44 mag , the 30-30 is a 1968 model , deep dark Blue and Dark Rich Walnut Wood, the Way Winny used to make them.

Re: 336c Marlin
I bought one from NineseveN last year, intending to go deer hunting for the first time this year. I hit a busy streak and was unable to go, but I love the rifle. Sometimes I take it out of the case and say sweet things to it. Then I kiss it and lovingly place it back inside. Shoots like a dream.

Re: 336c Marlin
Seems like the Marlin 336s show up at local shops for pretty cheap if you keep your eye out!
There is a shop in Lycoming county that always has them, I picked up an older 336RC a couple of years ago for 225.
I took it to the range and shot 2" groups at 100 yards with irons, I was shocked!! And still am when I shoot it, It was made in 51 I think.
They are great shooters !

Re: 336c Marlin
I own one. Close to 30 years old now(bought it new back in 81), Still shoots as well now as it did then. I have mine scoped.
My dad owns a Winchester 94. I'll take the Marlin any day.
