Walther Interarms PPK/S
I just picked one up in a trade and have yet to fire it. It is USA made and is in great condition. 1997 mfg. Anyone have one? How has it been for you? Any reliability issues?
Thanks

Has he broke it in yet? Usually the PPK/S has a long brek in period and you will need to find which round it likes. Other then that its a beauitful and accurtae pistols. Got to break it in first.

Re: Walther Interarms PPK/S
I have one that I bought around that 1997 date. Was OK for about 5 years, but I never fired it much. After that had lots of problems. Since it was out of warrantee took it to a gun smith who does great work. He found several problems that might well have been original defects. After repair it has run flawlessly ever since.

Re: Walther Interarms PPK/S
I had a few problems with one that I bought used. Magazine would drop out on it's own while firing, and safety would engage on it's own also while firing. Guess that is why I got it so cheap. I swapped all the old springs out with a new spring set from Wolff ($13) and it runs without a hickup since. Love it.
