Lancaster peeps, renewing my CCW permit

I got a post card from the sheriff yesterday. My LTCT expires in December. The post card says I have to have phone numbers for two non-family members as reference. Really?!? Do they actually call these references? I keep a BIG SECRET that I own guns, only four people know and they're all close family. This is BS

I recall having to do this when I applied for my LTCF 3 years ago but every time I renew my LTCF?!? What's the point of calling it a "conceal" carry permit?

The SP 4-127 application form (section 29) requires the phone #'s of your references. Each initial and renewal requires the same amount of info - including the two references.

Why are you renewing after 3 years - the LTCF is good for 5 years?

The Sheriff is not to disclose publicly that you have applied for a LTCF, have one, etc

He should not be telling your references

Uh, maybe it has been 5 years, I thought it was 3. I have several state LTCFs and they all expire different years, PITA.
