if anyone wants to join me and my old man, i'll be up at the SGL range in Pike, off Rt. 6 by Hawley, Friday the 22nd around 10am.
the old man hasn't been to the range in over a year and wants to pop off a few rounds with his .40 and .45 so i figured ill meet him there.

I wish I could join you, but I'll be working on Friday. How do you like the SGL range? I've heard a lot of mixed opinions.

I'm going to Pocono Pistol with my dad on Saturday morning. He decided not to shoot on our first trip to the range last week, so I'm excited that we'll both be shooting this time.

ETA: Hope everything is groovy, headcase. Surgery scares the crap out of me.

it is what it is, its just a range. the round count rule sucks specially when you have a 24 round magazine but can only load 3 at a time. its always hit or miss if the place is destroyed or not, and its also hit or miss if there will be some crazy russian guy there that has no idea what gun safety is. but during the weekdays, normally there are a bunch of older gentlemen there that shoot .22's and BS all morning.

How does the mag rule apply to wheelguns? Only 3 in the cylinder, or does it not apply? Forgive my ignorance.

6 shots for pistols, 3 for rifles. doesnt matter what kind you have.
