    That's what I got. Without rounding, it's 2.7692308.

    OP, you divide 9 by 3.25 (325%).

    9 = 3.25 x n
    9/3.25 = n
    2.77 = n
    While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

    If : 1=10/100 of 10
    and 10 = 10/100 of 100
    then 9 =325/100 of 2925 or 2925/325 =9

    Or is my math rusty? Its been a while

    I just used the one in my phone. It had digits to spare, but only spit out the first complete set of the repeating pattern.

    Frenchy, are you using an abacus?

    Actually, it is called Algebra, not Math.

    the answer to 9 = 325% of ? Should read "the answer to 9 = 325% of X" or properly placed in algebra,

    the phrase is or should be read x/325 =9

    Use the calculator here http://www.algebra.com/services/rend...simplifier.mpl

    Your Result:
    Simplify x/325=9

    • Solutions: x=2925.
