My fourth

Went to a lovely picnic/birthday party today and met a couple of people I can now put faces to names with, and got to see some people who I had the pleasure of meeting before. Sadly, I didn't get to stay that long, as the wife had double booked us at a different gathering that included family in N.Y.C.

Oddly enough, about ten minutes from the house, I got an emergency service call. So the wife and child continued on to the other party while I made some cash.(Thank you God )

In anticipation of being on my leg for an extended period of time, for really the first time since the operation, I pilled up before hand. As it turns out, I wound up standing for most of the day, and was pleasantly surprised at how well the ankle was tolerating it. Just about the time I arrived back at the house, my leg started throbbing. It was then that I realized the pain pills had been working so well that I forgot all about them, and that I was now going to spend the next hour or so paying for being so happy at feeling useful again, until the next round of pain pills kicked in....

All in all, it was worth it I got to spend time with some people that I feel truly greatful to have met, at the home of two people whom I respect a great deal, grilling up some grub, made a little money, and wound up being able to skip a very long two way drive to N.Y.C. Pretty good day

Thanks man. Feels pretty good today, as well. I thought it would be achey today, but no pills and just a tiny bit of soreness... I plan on resting it up today, but I have a sneaking suspicion I am getting dragged to Best Buy by the crazy Dominican....

Only about 600 lbs. of cast iron toted to the shop and put together, on the floor, then picked up and set on the table...........
