[PAFOA Blog] We Win!
We Win!
The Second Amendment is now incorporated to cover state and local governments according to today’s opinion released in McDonald vs. Chicago. According to SCOTUS Blog, the decision has been released today, and we’ll have more details as the opinion is shared with the public.
In the meantime, please take a few minutes to thank the members of the legislative branches of government who worked on our behalf to encourage the Supreme Court toward this position.

This is good. I can't wait to read the whole opinion.

Nice!
Just like it's supposed to be.
Wall Street Journal online:
The Supreme Court ruled for the first time that gun possession is fundamental to American freedom, giving federal judges the power to strike down state and local weapons laws for violating the Second Amendment.
Now maybe ammo and gun prices will drop?

Re: [PAFOA Blog] We Win!
No, a P&I 2A might have been a win where it lacked all sort of commentary about how violating our rights is okay.
A DPC result is at worst "not a devastating loss" and at best "a pyrrhic victory". At least overturning Slaugherhouse isn't foreclosed by virtue of the court simply not addressing that arguement.

Rush said "Today the Supreme Court of the United States voted on the second amendment, and it passed, 5 to 4".
We should not have gotten to the place where we are celebrating this kind of win, but here we are.Tommy610, NRA Member, Romans 12:18
