Dorney Park
So I am sure this has been asked and answered countless times, but I'm gonna ask again. The search function really didn't give me anything.

Thanks

Not going to the wet side. nope sure haven't seen it on a weekend, never have been there. Just went to King's Dominion on Monday and it was nice and empty. Hoping Dorney will be the same way
Yea I agree about the foolish, I normally carry 15/7. KD doesn't allow weapons at all, so I locked it up outside the gate.

Re: Dorney Park
I have never carried there. But I have carried to Hershey Park. And my view is that concealed is concealed and means no one can see it. If no one can see it, no one knows you have it.
I personally carried a P3AT in a pocket holster. I also took a heavy duty quart sized freezer bag to put it in if our group wanted to go on the water rides. Just goto the bathroom before you go on the water rides, grab a stall, and put it in the plastic bag. When you are done, go in the restroom again, and get it out. The plastic bag, if put in with the open end to the top of the pocket, can be opened pretty easily if needed.

Re: Dorney Park
i carried at dorney back in june. i had a keltec P3AT in my pocket, except for the water park. i locked it up with my other stuff, and prayed no one broke into my locker. i also carried a knife, and some OC spray. at least they have a dedicated security staff, unlike other theme parks, so i felt a little better being there than, say, great adventures.

I live about 10 miles from Dorney. The last time I was there was 1983.
But then, I am not into crowds. If I did go, I would carry.

Re: Dorney Park
I went on July 4th and didn't bring mine in. I was worried about a potential mishap while riding one of those gut twisting, torture devices, my wife and son insist I accompany them on..... I could all too easily see my .40 being ripped out of it's holster by the combo of me being slammed against the car in just the right spot while hanging upside down 100 feet over the ground. Just didn't want to take the chance.

Re: Dorney Park
I see you had fun Great Adventures as well..........NOT
I was in the haunted house days before it caught fire and burned up those kids . the driver of our group got a speeding ticket going there .And a other car in our group got hit in one of F*&KING circles. A guy stole one of the girls handbag and security at GA didn't want to here about it. Dorney Park is a hell of a lot better then GA any day . If you are going swimming or going on one of those ride that might slam you around there is no need to test the safety’s on your gun to see if you might have AD while getting thrown around. don’t bring it if this applies.
