    I don't get out to shoot as often as I would like to. So the thought poped into my head. How often do others breakdown your carry piece to clean and re-oil it?

    Once ever couple of weeks, or if I look at it and it looks extra dusty, or I've been working in a dirty environment.

    I have found though, that it doesn't get as dirty Open Carrying as it did when I Concealed. I think it has to do with less dirt and lint from my clothes getting into it.

    Not as often as I should - it does get wiped down with a BreakFree dampened cloth every night to keep any rust from having a chance.

    I strip and clean mine after every range trip. If I haven't gone in a given month, I will give it a rub down anyway

    Hate to say it, but not very often. But the darn things just keep functioning without a clitch. So, I figure it don't need a good cleaning and keep putting it off. I almost wish the darn thing would FTF so I would go, "OH SH*T. I haven't cleaned this thing in ages. I better tear it down and lube it up".

    I run it through the dishwasher after every range trip, and about once a month if I don't get to the range.

    Aside from some external cleaning, I haven't stripped my Taurus down for cleaning since I first bought it. 540 rounds through it since then without a hiccup - I think it may be overdue for a quick cleanup.

    Eww - its a bit dusty. Definitely overdue for a quick cleanup. I need more cleaning patches.

    After I shoot. Although I went to shoot on Sunday and haven't had Roxi apart yet to clean her. I may get that done today...if not then tomorrow is looking good.
