Re: OC/CC at the West End Fair?
To the OP,
I have not ever carried to the WEF, but then again I have only gone once, a few years back. Nothing to add to help you....
To the troll,
You are entitled to your view. In the future, you may want to consider changing the manner in which you convey it.Last edited by headcase; August 25th, 2008 at 08:44 PM.

G21.45 is not the first guy to blow up on here. I've been less than polite, to my own regret. One of the admins did it once

To all:
If you want to address your disagreement with G21's points, AS THEY RELATE TO THE OP'S QUESTION, about the fair. Have at it. ... Nicely. Or else there are plenty of infractions to go aroundLast edited by Pa. Patriot; August 25th, 2008 at 08:09 PM.

If the OP is willing to cover up or leave the grounds if requested (per the property's owner's rights), I see no reason why he shouldn't OC in the mean time.

G21.45- Your excessive/unnecessary and erroneous use of commas in your posts make my head hurt. Do i even need to mention your complacency and willingness to appease the sheeple of society by compromising the RKBA that my fellow Americans died to defend and uphold sickens me? That type of attitude/mentality is what gives the anti-gunners the edge in driving the wedge between the gun toting masses that allows anti-2A legislation to exist in the first place. Compromise about what types of firearms can be owned by the citizenry, OC or CC and before you know it, ALL our rights are gone. YOU sir, are merely an anti-gunner w/ a gun, an elitist mentality that does more damage than good. If ANYONE'S actions cause US to lose the right to carry, it will be your own for not exercising the right to the degree w/ which it is defined and being a patsy to the masses, The "ripple effect" does not have to be negative. I wonder if you even understand what that term means at all.

Re: OC/CC at the West End Fair?
To the O.P.:
Carry how you see fit, and how you are comfortable doing.
If you are comfortable dealing with a potentially hostile OC environment, then OC.
If not, then CC.
The decision is up to you.
I may be an OC advocate. I might even be as bias as PA Patriot. But neither of us, nor any of the other OCers on the site, will tell you how to carry. We support the right to bear arms in any way you want to. (Statutory limitations notwithstanding...)
OC, CC or NC. It's up to you - no one else.

Re: OC/CC at the West End Fair?
I guess you and only you know your motive. I have carried there for longer then cabin is old. Usually an OWB holster with an untucked shirt. I`m not making a point, carry is for my safety and since this is a family event with lot`s of little kids and the last bunch of years tons of liberal easterners I conceal. Sort of, I don`t like IWB`s so occasionally my weapon shows or prints.
G21.45 in my opinion is not 100% wrong and there is a time and place for everything. IMHO in many cases it`s an overdose of testosterone rather then a genuine desire to protect a right or personal safety.Last edited by Exbiker; August 26th, 2008 at 10:54 AM.
