OC, a tactical disadvantage for self-defense
That's basically how I've always felt... but, I've done it from time to time. So I did again. I actually OCed all of Saturday while out and about. Cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria...
But, no I did. I went all over Allegheny and Westmoreland counties and was around people all day. Car dealership, then rental car place, gas, food at a bar for lunch, (OCing all afternoon didn't count, as I was also OCing a shotgun while small game hunting).
It was pleasant. I did disarm completely before visiting the gentleman's club that evening with the guys... lolF*S=k

Re: OC, a tactical disadvantage for self-defense
I swear there are more myths surrounding OC/CC then there are truths.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Re: OC, a tactical disadvantage for self-defense
I am not really sure what the point of the thread is??
You title it, "OC, a tactical disadvantage for self-defense", saying that is how you have always felt. Then you tell us how you OC'd all day and how it was pleasant. What does the thread have to do with the tactical disadvantage you always felt OC was? Did your pleasant experience somehow change your outlook on OC tactics, and if so, how? I am not sure how having a pleasant experience OC'ing factors in to someone's self defense tactical assessment process....
I am glad you seem to have had a nice day OC'ing, I am just not sure why you chose to present it in the way you did...

Re: OC, a tactical disadvantage for self-defense
Did you notice if anyone noticed? Obviously, no one disarmed you (which would have made for one heck of a thread).
Glad your OC experience went well. Some call it "the dark side" - but I call it "the enlightened side."

Re: OC, a tactical disadvantage for self-defense
WTF are you on about?? There has been absolutely no OC vs CC anything in this thread yet. The OP simply titled the thread in a confusing way, probably in an attempt to say that he was against OC, but after trying it, he was pleasantly surprised at the results. How the hell does that equal anything to do with yet another OC vs CC debate?

Re: OC, a tactical disadvantage for self-defense
Was there a reason for that Synergy? I have been accused of being hypersensitive to perceived OC insults, and I did not see anything of the sort in the OP, so would you and jaybell care to enlighten the rest of us?
