    Default The Sig Sauer P226 Appreciation Thread...

    So, in my opinion, this pistol, the P226 from the mighty Sig Sauer, is the epitomy of what i would consider a combat ready pistol. It fits my hand like a glove. It always goes boom. I love the triggers. They can handle copious amounts of abuse and still not budge, dependability wise. They eat whatever ammo i feed them. Just quality pieces.

    I think this amazing pistol needs its own Appreciation thread, so...lets show praise to the almighty P226.

    These are the two P226's that i own, these particular pictures ARE NOT MINE, they are just default pictures of my models.

    Anyone else a fan of the Sig Sauer P226's? Speak on it then.

    My Sig P-226. An SCT model that ships with 4, 20 round magazines. I promptly purchased 4 more from Midway. 160 rounds of firepower from just 8, 20 round mags. And it comes standard with the Sig Night Sights. Bill T.

    Hey guys. I have a 229. Can I join the club?

    On a similar note, My next pistol is either going to be a 226 or a 220 in 45acp. What are the differences in them?

    Have a P226 and a P225 (aka P6). Both made in Germany, both much more accurate than I am, and both ex-police guns. Would recommend to anyone. Dave_n

    hifly....The 220 and the 226 are about identical exect for caliber and capacity.220=7+1 45ACP

    226=15+1 9mil

    Clearly Sigs are the bee's knees. The 226 quite possibly being the kneesiest bee out there.

    I have a couple of Sigs but I bought my 226 for IDPA competition. I bought a Blackwater tactical version . So far 2 event and about 1000 rounds no problems.
