    Default Legal Defense Fund Challenge

I'm putting this out there for all members to consider.

Starting August 7th 2009 i am setting up my bank account to do a bi weekly payment of $10-$20 into the Legal defense fund for those wrongfully arrested/detained.

i challenge all membership to consider doing the same instead of rushing to donate and trying to scrape together money to help out.

for those wanting to know which defense fund i'm talking about. this time it was Mtn.Jack, Next is Hobson, who else, i don't know, but i will make sure to help out that way we can continue to fight. Greg is stopping MtnJacks funds this saturday, but more are needed to fight other cases on the side burner.

Which Legal Defense Fund are you speaking of? Is there a fund set up already somewhere for anyone who needs it? Or am I missing something here?

The fund, from my understanding, is just that, a fund. When specific cases come up that need funding, it is taken from this fund. If you tag your donation to go to a specific cause, then that money will go exactly where you designate. As an example, when I donate, I generally state that it go where ever it is needed, to include hotdogs for Greg or Rich, gas, supplies, and/or hookers for relaxation as the efforts put in by these guys is unreimbursed...... Think on that when donating...

I'm in the same boat - just lost my job last week or I would be sending money as we speak but it looks like things might be tight for a little while. I will be sure to contribute with interest added as soon as I am financially stable again. Until then I will have to settle for a simple yet sincere 'Thank You' to everyone who is fighting to stand up for the rights of ALL OF US. Your hard work and determination is greatly appreciated.
