    Default Took the plunge

All the i's are dotted and the t's crossed, and the signatures obtained, prints taken, money paid, and the check written. I finally took the plunge and the paperwork is on the way to the BATFE for my first suppressor (thanks Josh ). Now I just have to wait for the tax stamp. Will be picking up my gun next Saturday (Ruger bull barrel .22 that has already been cut and threaded.

I already gave notice to the crows, hogs and chippies that their days were numbered, so leave now or suffer the consequences.

I remember a long ago post that I commented "why would someone want a suppressor?" Well, I completely retract and now condemn that statement, what was I thinking? (thanks Josh ).

Already looking at sending off a 10/22 to be cut and threaded, just need to get in touch with PA Patriot to see if he wants the job.

Oh yeah, my thanks to ithinkimamedic for showing me the light , thanks Josh, just let me break it to the wife .

Congrats... now for learning the art of patience , if you don't have it already.

The BATFE is a busy place these days. My last can took from check cashed on Feb 16th to tax stamp at my dealer on June 19th.

My AAC Evo-9 just came in today and my paperwork will go out Monday. I'm hoping to get the can in my grubby little hands by November.

For the 10/22 - check out the tactical solutions barrels. I bought one through http://www.eabco.com/TacticalSolutions01.html . Switching the barrel out was very easy. The only thing you have to remember is that you'll need a new stock so that the heavy barrel fits in the channel.

It is a bad-ass little tack driver now.

Oh, and one more thing - sub sonic .22LR is tought to find right now.

Dang. I've been called a post whore but I can assure you, I've never resorted to copy/pasting other people's posts.

The way you left off the first two words was creative genius though, so I gotta give you credit for that.

    Ron,
I'm glad it has made it's way through and you took the plunge! I know you will be happy with it (since mine makes you giggle like a school child every time you shoot it) now go crazy threading anything with a barrel!

Oh, tell you wife I'm sorry now so the next time I am over she doesn't try to kill me once she realizes it's my fault

I hate to tell you this - but, now you did it. Expect to spend many lonely nights on the couch .

Suppressors and other NFA goodies are like potato chips. You can't have just one.

What .22 can did you go with?
