Starbucks OC.
This morning I was going to the gun club to shoot some trap. Loaded up my stuff and strapped on my Sig. I took some 9mm ammo incase I felt like shooting pistol too.
I was going early to do some stops before getting to the range. Can't start banging away with the shotguns till noon on sunday. Church thing I guess. No biggy to me.
Anyway I had a craving for Starbucks this morning so I went to the one on Baltimore Pk. in Springfield. I walk in and there are three people in front of me. Two were women ordering some goofy mocha something something frappa whatever.
I am looking at the front door when in walks one of Springfield's finest. {LEO}
Now I haven't been OCing all that long so now I'm thinking, Here we go... Now there is just one person in front of me at the counter so I'm facing forward and the LEO walks up behind me. Yes I'm a little nervous and yes I know I'm not doing anything wrong but it's new to me.
I figured I would make the first move and turn and say good morning.
I say good morning.
LEO: Morning
Me: How's things in Springfield this morning?
LEO: Quiet as usual.
Me: That's a good thing right?
LEO: Oh yeah, absolutely. I don't need any excitement on a Sunday morning.
Me: Yeah really {with a snicker}
I then walked up got my coffee, turned said cya and left. I don't know if he noticed or not, but I was ready for whatever was going to happen.
All went well though and I felt nervous but I was ready for any comments that might have insued.I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning.[

You know, I haven't seen a Starbucks in PA since I moved here almost two years ago.

OC'd the StarSchmuck's in Wyomissing back when my girlfriend worked closing shift. Cut down on the troublemaking teens who like to trash the place on weekend nights.

Nice report man. Glad that went the way it did.
