    Great thread DC.

I don't know if this is a chain wide thing, but the one super price difference I have found is on Mozzerella cheese. Shoprite by me sells their brand @$2.99 a pound, all the time, as in everyday normal price. Everyone else, store brands included, average $5.75 a pound. I have no idea how they do it, but it is a price that has been steady for at least the last 10 months, since I noticed it. I buy five or six at a time... I use mozzerella in about every thing

At my Shoprite the Perdue ground turkey was $1.49lb, so if you are buying it look and see if Perdue is on sale at yours

    Good catch, must be unadvertised.

As far as our shopping here we are DONE meat wise. We have a commercial freezer and when I say I couldn't fit a Popsicle stick in I wouldn't be lying. Bought probably $400 in meat in the last 3 weeks and you literally have to be careful when you open the door so something doesn't fly out at you. Hell even the small freezer over the fridge is packed to the gills!

Still looking for canned stuff and dried stuff to stock the basement shelves but we are stocked frozen wise.

You know, I have heard of that. There was an older woman that lived up the street here that everyone raves about her 'canned meat' but I have never had it nor do I have clue one what it is or how it's done.... but I've heard it's damn good.
