Well, there is a XDs9 on my desk right now instead of a Glock.

Gun + 2 mags with gun + 4 more extended mags + extra sleeves + carrier + holster for less money.

Sounds kinda desperate doesn't it? I would never own a springfield but thats just me.
Now less Glock, more H&K :)

I own both plus every gen 19 except the first.

The Glock 26 is the best all around subcompact bar none and my most carried firearm. Its shoots as well as the 17/19 and takes the larger mags so its a no brainer. I also own the 43 because in the summer and when I wear scrubs, the 43 is lighter and fills a niche. The shield is also a nice gun but I'm a Glock guy and would rather keep things consistent.

Mine is gen 3 with factory night sights. Any Glock I get i put on night sights and and extended slide stop lever, except the 26 which doesn't need the latter.

As for the brass to face: I've had one out of many Glocks that did it. Yes, it is still a potential problem. With any mass produced item you can get a lemon. I've found that it is largely exaggerated but it does exist and no it has nothing to do with limp wristing, etc like many internet retards like to spew. If you get one, send it to Glock, their customer service is excellent and will fix the problem.

I don't buy any handguns that don't say Glock or HK. But thats just my opinion after evidence based research and experience.
Now less Glock, more H&K :)

    I carried a G26 in a Crossbreed for years.
I thought I found the best option for me even after trying other guns.

Then a buddy let me try out his G43.

Yeah, it “seems” like there isn’t much difference in size but when it comes to carrying them the G43 wins for me.

I sold off the G26 to my brother and recently picked up a gray framed G43 from a member here.
    No regrets.

    No regrets.

Especially when sitting in a car or truck for long periods of time.

At all of the pistol matches I've been to, two types of guns fail the most. First is any kind of 1911. Second is the XD. Also the holster and mag pouches are worth free. I wouldn't pay money to buy them. I got the free gear with my Springfield 1911 that doesn't eject shells all of the time. I also got free shitty mags. I wound up buying all new mags, mag pouch and holster to replace the free gear.

G26.... Any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. I prefer the wider grip on the G26, not even accounting for magazine capacity and interchangeability.

I honestly think the single stack 9mm compact thing is a fad. But fwiw, I IWB carry a G17 for EDC..... So I'm completely on the other side of the spectrum

I shot the Glock 26 and thought it was a little snappy. I never shot a Glock 43. That being said, my M&P shield 9 is very enjoyable to shoot.

How snappy is the 43 compared to the 26?

It’s not. Tons of Vids on YouTube. Great gun, fast, accurate and easy to shoot.
