Yep , like a traveling museum. No molded plastic , MiM or CNC-machined aluminum. Always amazed at the Civil War era (and earlier) firearms and items at this show. Just wish I could afford some.
Good beef jerky , smoked meats and pickles across the street at the Farmers Market.I don't speak English , I talk American!

Has anyone gone to a Forks show in the last year? How was it for WWI-Korean War Era Rifles? Specifically Central & South American Mausers and Tokarev Semi Auto Rifles (SVT-38 & SVT-40)? How about French MAS Semi-Auto Rifles?

Last show I don't remember seeing any SVT-38 or 40 rifles. For Mausers, not many South American ones, and those that were there were common ones (ex: Brazilian 1908 and Chilean 1895 long rifles) at a premium price. One dealer with some Nazi stuff had some unusual Mausers but they all had the same inky black finish, white paint in the lettering and reciever crests, and a sanded and refinished look to the stocks, regardless of country of origin. Lots of K98Ks, some looked to be of dubious origin, although I am not an expert on them. Yugo M48s marked as WW2 issue as well.

Love, love this show. Seeing the history is worth the trip. Plus, on Saturday, the Farmer's Market is open. Picked up a "modern" Sig P290RS ORB.
A Republic, if you can keep it.
