Your call.
Your timing on the subject is BAD, and your arguments are weak, and HIGHLY confrontational.
You don't convince someone they are wrong by calling them idiots.
I'm always open to honest debate, but it's hard to keep emotions out of it, and as I stated, this was a bad time to start beating on fellow forum members when one of our own is under attack.
Stick around, or leave.
Either way, we'll continue to fight for your rights. Even if you don't want, need, or believe in them.

Re: Gun Wrongs: Open Carry Rant you don't want to hear
Number one, thanks for posting your views and observations. Its is always worthwhile to see sincere opinions expressed from all corners of the issue. The only way to ever move toward resolution is to first understand where others might be coming from.
That said, I don't agree with you. I don't open carry, not really practical where I live in my view -- however, I vigorously support the right of others who choose to do so for whatever reason. I don't have to be an interpretive dancer to support the first amendment rights to express yourself and I don't have to be a priest to support the rights to exercise one's chosen religion.
It makes no difference to me why people choose to open carry. If they have the legal right to do so, nobody, and especially not the gov't, should interfere in the peaceful exercise of that right. Even people who I don't necessarily share philosophies with or maybe would rather not be friends with, and many I would. The issue isn't popularity of view or how close you can get to the mainstream of contemporary thought while still carrying a gun. The issue is a commonality of belief that law abiding Americans have the right to carry a gun and that's a belief that gov't harrassment and browbeating by the public won't discourage.
If people criticize your views, take that for what it's worth. This is an anonymous internet forum dedicated to gun owners in PA. If you don't agree with the tide here, that's your right, but don't take offense if not everyone here is convinced by your arguments as to your point of view.

Nobody is getting "banned" for expressing their views.
However, continued personal attacks will be taken into consideration.
