Re: Any local Garand owners?
You can go online to the PGC site and get a permit there to be able to shoot at Scotia. Or, you can shoot there as a guest (a permit or hunting license holder is allowed to bring one guest). This would be best as the permit is like a hunting license, it goes by calendar time and is NOT pro rated. So, go as a guest this time and in July get your hunting license or permit and it will be good until next July.

I've never shoot with any of the other members but would like to put some faces to the names. Count me in.

Re: Any local Garand owners?
As it stands right now, I will be at Scotia on Sat morning (6/22). I'll be getting there pretty early (8AM) as I have a new handgun owner to work with for a while. Not sure what all I'll bring.

Re: Any local Garand owners?
As of right now, looks like I probably won't be able to make it out on Saturday, I think I'll be in Hershey. If that changes, I'll try to make it out. Might be able to meet up on Sunday, but we'll see.

Re: Any local Garand owners?
I'm going to be working with a new shooter who is still a bit shy around more experienced shooters. It doesn't matter that I tell her that the other people don't care about her shooting, she's still a bit nervous shooting around others and thinks they are all watching her when she shoots. So we'll be doing some training and then I'll have her observe what other people are doing and comment on what she sees people doing, right or wrong.
Remember, I've been getting up early to very early for 40 some years. If I'm still in bed at 9 AM I feel I've wasted half the day
Yasu, I'll probably be around still, I need some range time.Ron USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member
