Record number of county residents seek permits to carry concealed weapons

Friday's massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School has prompted an uptick in purchases of gun permits unlike any seen in years.
A record number of concealed-weapons permits were purchased in Lancaster County Monday — three days after 26 people, including 20 children, were shot to death inside the Connecticut school, the sheriff said.

QUESTION:
I am from Lancaster, and my LTCF looks different than that. Has it changed since 08? It's hard plastic as well

Every county in PA now issues the same-looking license (as of last year). It is a piece of paper that is then laminated.
