Purchasing a suppressor from an individual?

I am just wanting to be sure this is legal in PA.

I paid for a used suppressor from an individual, and he provided the Form 4's with his information filled out. I filled out all of my information, and sent it to the BATFE with the $200.00 check.

When he gets the Form 4 back from the BATFE, can we meet and he hand me the suppressor and form 4 with the tax stamp?

My understanding is that this is legal in PA, However, I just want to make sure before I actually touch the suppressor. I will admit to being somewhat paranoid about violating any firearms laws.

This is only a thread on suppressor, it is not attached to any gun.

What you have discribed is perfectly legal. Congrats on you new (to you) suppressor! What did you get?

When the seller receives the approved form 4 back you are the owner and can pick it up.
