NRA University coming to Penn State

The Penn State College Republicans are hosting the NRA University on Thursday Nov. 3 from 6-8. The Facebook description is below. Don't know if this is posted somewhere else or not, just wanted to let as many people know as possible. I will be attending, but I'm not affiliated with the College Republicans, so any other questions about the event should be addressed to someone else. Hope to see some other PAFOA members there. Anyone else planning on going?

University Park, Pennsylvania

NRA University (NRA U) is a two-hour training seminar for those interested in learning more about NRA, the Second Amendment, and the gun control debate. NRA-ILA staff will come to your campus to provide you with the tools you’ll need to become a more effective activist in the fight to protect our freedom, both on- and off-campus.

Students will receive a FREE one-year membership to NRA and other important materials.

Food will be provided!

Doh! I'm not a student but would have loved to show up and see what information they are dispensing to students... alas some relaxation has set me far away from this.

Nothing I can find would indicate that it is for students only. If you can find the Thomas building on campus I don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to sit there and listen. I personally know of two FOAC members that are not students that are coming tonight. I think the more support the students that are there see from the surrounding community, the better.
