Don't even get me started! I so want two of these.

I'm not gonna lie, this is part of my motivation.

Actually I lied. I want three. Two 20 gauge SxS's with pistol grips, and one 12 gauge SxS with the stock still attached. Someday...

I expect you to chop that barrel down the same method that Ash did in Evil Dead Part 2, with a chainsaw.

Evil Dead hmmm, I suppose I have to actually watch that movie? This whole time I thought I was up to date with zombie films by watching the whole Resident Evil series.

You have got to watch it, it is one of the best movies ever made. Stars Bruce Campbell as Ash.

Two favorite scenes of mine, when he's talking to himself in the mirror right after he cuts off his girlfriend's head, and when he cuts off his own hand because it was possessed.

You'll love it, get a big bowl of popcorn and a chick. Make sure you keep count how many times he should have actually died.

I will absolutely do that. It's funny, you're the one that recommended the Resident Evil series to me. I'm not a huge movie guy but the zombie movies are awesome. I'm still eagerly awaiting Resident Evil 5, and my wife is too!

I defiantly dig this project and look forward to following it. How did you address the back end of the grip and the hole through there to attach the grip?

Yeah, I make it pretty obvious I'm a big movie fan. That's why I have a 4.5TB RAID array a little more than half full of stuff to watch, and WDTVLive's to access the array. Also hacked my Wii to play video.

If you enjoy the zombie flicks, Shaun of the Dead is hilarious, but I do really like Mila Jovovich as Alice. Been a fan of hers since Fifth Element came out.

I do like your project with that shotgun. I've been wanting a Stoeger Coach gun in 12Gauge for a long time. Someday I'll get one.

I'm gonna have to plug the hole. Where it's cut off, the hole is only the diameter of the bolt threads, and not large enough for the bolt head. So I will have to bore it out larger for the bolt head. I'm also going to need a shorter bolt, or cut down the existing bolt.

To make the hole plug, I'm going to mill out a piece of the stock that I cut off, glue it in place and then trim it flush. I have access to a Bridgeport milling machine at work so it shouldn't be a problem to get a tight fit. Hopefully.
