Re: Copperhead Grille - Allentown, NOT gun friendly!
Coppehead is mediocre. Chess-n-Checkers is nicer. Jack Creek is really good tex-mex/steakhouse, and is in that mall just down the Catasaqua Rd within sight of C&C. FYI, I live like 5 minutes from there.

Re: Copperhead Grille - Allentown, NOT gun friendly!
We had a great time at Chess and Checkers. The waiter at Copperheads literally came over and just before he went into his spiel, glanced down at Chris' shirt, and must have then noticed the gun on the side facing him. He started acting like a Meth-head. We actually had to have him repeat things because he was talking so fast, and pointing out obvious things in a nervous way.
The owner was nice enough about it and we just said we would go someplace else. No scene. No drama. And it really turned out to be for the best because there is no way we would have had as good a time as we did at Chess and Checkers, at Copperheads Grill.

Re: Copperhead Grille - Allentown, NOT gun friendly!
I would enjoy a social outing... But I work 6 12hr shifts (thurs/fri are night shifts, too) a week. So when I go out, its someplace that is really damned great to eat. The Mint, Stefano's, Sette Luna in Easton (amazing).
I OC'd at Sette Luna this week, dined outside though. Had a white pizza with soppresetta ham, fontina cheese, black truffles, and a poached egg... Cooked in a wood fired oven. Re-damned-diculousThe last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.

Re: Copperhead Grille - Allentown, NOT gun friendly!
If we had the time (had to get home to 'kids') I would have taken your suggestion and got a copy of the $160+ bill, drove up to the Copperhead, asked for the owner and handed it to him and said "Here's what you missed"
He may have been polite but he was still an asshole.

Should have went right up the street to Jack Creek. They never even say a word about carrying.
