    Default Moon clip question

If someone saw moon clips specified for a S&W 25, could he be reasonably sure that they would also fit a S&W 325 NG?

6 shot moonclips for S&W "N" frame .45 ACP should fit all models.

Thanks for the quick reply! I called Cabela's and asked if they even sold them. The lady had never heard of them, but I did get a lot of giggles out of her. But there are other sources.

Try Brownell's, and while you're getting the moonclips, (I use Wilson's) get one of Brownell's demooners also. It looks like a screwdriver only instead of a blade it has a tube with notched end and holds 6 .45 ACP cases. Hold the clipped empties upside down in your weak hand and just slip the tube over the case, twist the handle and the case pops right off and drops into the tube for collection.

    Have fun!

Call Ranch Products direct at 313-277-3118. Tell them you want 100 pieces .45 ACP blue moon clips for a S&W 625. They will mail them to your door with an invoice for $35. Cut them a check and mail it back with the invoice.

Nice demooner, love the padded handle, makes my old piece of copper pipe seem almost shabby.

There were some differences in the shape machined around the extractor star on the various .45 ACP/AR revolvers. I bought some Rimz polymer full-moons and they had to be modified (per the manufacturer's instructions) to fit my early 625 (Model of 1988). I would imagine that if you contacted Ranch Products (assuming you want metal ones) they would know the correct ones to send you for your specific model. If I were to guess, I would bet they are the same as current model 625 moons. Good luck.
