I used to do a lot of detailing through craigslist, but you would be surprised how little people wish to pay for 8-10 hours of work that is obvious.

Generally speaking, I would do an exterior only detail for $150-$200, which is less than 3 other "professional" detailers, and they dont even fix the issues, they sell you cherry scented wax. My work is actual correction and they think that I will accept $45... Needless to say, I have given up on it because of the influx of idiots that found CL.

Can we stop the off topic CL stories? The topic was the reaction to OCing by potential internet buyers. If you guys want to talk CL and Ebay, go to the lounge.

This is a cruel trick and I'd never reccomend doing it...
On that note, I played a joke on a fraternity brother a few years back where I posted up on craigslist a VERY convincing, sad story, about why a person had to adopt-out all of his exotic animals including, an alligator, one or two penguins, a few parrots (macaws) and I think I included a peacock or two. The story went on to describe how he was moving out and his new landlord (I said he was in a house with property) wouldn't allow the animals without a tremendous deposit. I posted the listing in about 15 different cities and he got phone calls for over a month (I think CL delets posts after 30 or 45 days in the community section). It got to a point where he wasn't even mad though, he would answer calls and put them on speakerphone at work. Thankfully he had a good sense of humor.
