    Default LTCF Grace period ?

    Hey guys, i renewed my LTCF yesterday. I have a question. Does a LTCF have a grace period? What i mean is if your LTCF expires on 4/15/09 and you don't renew until 4/18/09 could you still carry concealed for the 3 days after it expired?

    The reason i ask is because my old LTCF expired on 4/19/09 but my new LTCF expires on 4/15/14 (since the 15th was the day that i renewed). So because i renewed 4 days early i lost 4 days. It doesn't really mater that much to me because i always renew before it runs out but i was just wondering if they allow a grace period.

    There is a grace period of 6 months so long as you're eligible for renewal.

    6106(b)(12) A person who has a lawfully issued license to carry a firearm pursuant to section 6109 (relating to licenses) and that said license expired within six months prior to the date of arrest and that the individual is otherwise eligible for renewal of the license.
