Millers was where I got my first 9mm S&W 59 in 1990 with the ink still wet on my new PADL. What a nice shop he had.

yeah like i said, i was sure i forgot plenty. a & a was another one i bought from, although i couldnt go in there without a respirator half the time cuz of the stench of body odor.
they did get me a good deal on my gun tho, (a & a)and i was sorry to hear about him getting beaten and robbed.
Yup that was Frank Manhart .. he was a gem of a gentleman (probably dead by now) and his wife was a sweetheart ... they were great customer's of mine back in the day (1986 - 1991) when Tootie and I had our arrow manufacturing company. Great people!
On the other side Miller's (which as I said before was n 611) was a fun place to look at cool stuff. Now the owner (forget his first name) was a bit of a prick but OMFG did he have some cool weapons!

Frank is most certainly alive and kicking. He was an avid National Match Course shooter in his day, but his eyesight has deteriorated to the point that he no longer competes. He does shoot some NRA Long Range Prone from time to time and is an avid motorcycle rider. He does lots of enduro rides too I am told.

Yup that was the place ... he had one HELL of a store there too, gave Dunkelbergers a serious run for their money gun wise. I used to just stop in to see what new NFA toys he had (had I known how high they were going to go I would have done more than look)

That's great to hear. Frank and his wife were great people and one of our better customers when we had the arrow manufacturing company, actually I'm pretty sure he was our 2nd customer (a friend in NJ was our 1st)

Re: American Sport Shooting
There are very few better ways to spend a good portion of a day than in a gun shop with good company..............one such way is to spend a day in a gun shop with good company, meet a couple of people you only know from an internet website, like Chemical for instance, and walk out with a nice new holster, some cleaning supplies and a complete CMMG upper with money left over in the bank after paying.
Great prices, great service, clean bathroom and a razor sharp wit.......I'd recommend Vic Mack......errr Rich Flynn's shop to anyone.
