Lansdale OC'er... Who was it? ;)

OK so my Mom (who lives in Lansdale) just called me to tell me that I "wouldn't believe" what she just saw - A young guy in shorts and T-shirt, walking down Main St. w/ a gun plainly displayed on his hip.

She rather incredulously asked 'if that was legal,' and I explained to her that it is absolutely fully legal, and that chances are I sorta-kinda "know" who it might have been (meaning someone on this forum). She knows that I have CC'ed for almost 10 years now, so she immediately thought to call me to tell me this "exciting" development ...

I grew up in Lansdale, so I found it interesting. This OC'er was passing the McDonalds and walking down near where the Tremont Inn used to be (I guess it's a Wal Green's now) on Main and Broad, around 10:00 AM...

OK so who was it

Where was she at the time? If she was in the McDonald's, I may have spoken with her! I wasn't walking past it, I was IN it, doing the breakfast thing.

In any event, Viper, I read your post on your previous negative encounter in Lansdale, and you were exactly the person I had in mind when my Mom called me this morning.... That's funny.

And no, she definitely did not call the po-po... She called me! She was just curious, like most people who don't 'get' the fact that it's completely legal to OC.

She wasn't in McDonald's; She was driving by on Main St...

Glad to see that your LEO encounter today was handled correctly by the responding officers. Ya think you might have been the topic of any discussion at the Lansdale P.D. in between the first encounter and today's encounter? Just maybe?

I personally choose to CC, but I have nothing against OC at all... Just more of a personal decision, IMO. But the bottom line is I'm glad to hear about another law-abiding citizen in my home town carrying... Well done, Viper! Rep coming your way.
