Default Moving to Bryn Mawr, need new Range

I just got a job in Wilmington and I moving to the Bryn Mawr Home Properties. I used to shoot at classic pistol because I got a free membership there, but the drive has been killing me. It takes up way too much time and gas to get to the range.

I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for a good gun range I can start going to when I move? I haven't really heard anything about any particular club or gun range and wanted to know what you all thought.

    Thanks!

I shoot at Targetmaster on 202 just about at the Delaware border. I like the people there and they have 15 lanes, normally no wait except Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Even then, no more than 15 minutes. Depending if you carry in Delaware it would be easy to stop on your way home from work in Wilmington.

Delaware County Field and Stream Club
    Creek Road.
    Brookhaven, PA

    Look them up on Google.

vast club with skeet, trap, high power, smallbore. air rifle, archery, pistol and resturaunt facilities on the weekends.
It's also the safest club in the area.

It's also a family range with facilities for the wife and kids if you have them.

I live in Wayne and have not found any range that was close by. However there is always Lower Providence Rod and Gun club, its about 15-20 minutes away but they have an indoor and outdoor range. You take the Oaks exit off 422, take a right and its about 1/8th mile on left. hope this helps

Agreed, thats where I shoot normally. Glad you decided to stay in the area, let me know if you want to check out Lower Providence!

PS- Check the Open Carry section, we may have some more "Radnor Work" to do!

Welcome to Bryn Mawr. Glad to see there are members on here from my area. The slosest good range is Lower Providence, but you must be a memeber or know one. Target World and Target Master are ok a little further drive is Classis Pistolwhich is a real class operation. Also the is hopewell furnace state game lands, but sometimes there is a bad group there. Hope you enjoy Bryn Mawr I work in a bar right around the corner from you if you ever want toget toknow your neighbors PM me.

Delaware County Field and Stream in Brookhaven, PA
    Formed in the 30's
    over 4000 members.
    Full resturant on the weekends.
    very safe and active club.
    They have a web site.

If you need long range shooting try
    Atglen sportsmens assn.
All ranges available and high power out to 600 meters.

Hard to get into Atglen though.

    DCF&S is fairly easy.

    Another vote for DCFS.

Been a member since the 90's--it's a great place with a lot to offer, and it won't break the bank.

    www.dcfs.org, btw.
