OK... YOUR opinion, best conceal gun & Y?

Alright folks, im thinking of a different conceal gun for me to carry, i currently have glock 19, im looking for something smaller and maybe in .45 acp. was looking at kimber. but what is your favorite and tell us why...

xd was just the first handgun I got, and I signed up here soon after, i'm a glock man generally... most people will tell you to shy away from 10mm for personal defense because of the over penetration chance and recoil..

well i also hear that 10mm is a little expensive and that one might as well go with a more powerful and more universal round like .45 acp. ive never actually shot this caliber but have heard plenty of good stuff, from what i hear its slightly more powerful than a 9mm and right below a 45 right? or am i way off? LOL..

10mm is the same dia. as .40 s&w, but longer casing.. It's ranked between a .357mag and .41mag so its more powerful than a .45, and even a .357mag....

it's about the same price as .45acp, sometimes a bit more but for FMJ your looking within a dollar between it and .45acp most of the time....

It just never really took off, the FBI adopted it for a short time, but the women and minorities couldnt handle the extra recoil so that killed it... it is starting to take off a bit more in the civilian market , but your never gonna see it offered across the board as law enforcement will never take it up because of the recoil.. but honestly I dont think the recoil is that bad, I can get back on target just as fast as with my 45

with that being said, i am now more interested in finding out first hand how it handles (not to undermine your experience, of course), will have to rent one on the range soon, thanks a lot XD45
