Greater Pitt Re-opening this weekend
This is an Email I got from a buddy of mine this morning.
Tex just called me and left a message on my machine. He said the Greater Pittsburgh Gun club is reopening. This weekend it will be open again.

But for how long? Is Tex allowed to be on the range? Do they still have an FFL?

Re: Greater Pitt Re-opening this weekend
Tex left a message on my answering machine with the same news.
There is absolutely NO additional information.
His message to me was that the gun club was reopening NEXT weekend but he would be there this weekend also if I would like to shoot.
He also asked for me to spread the word.
As stated, take it for what it's worth.
I do not know ANY particulars regarding open to public, membership (although he did extend my membership for a year when I was there last time at no additional cost to me). I seriously thought it was money wasted but time will tell.
I will probably still join McDonald or Forest Grove ( Doc, for those of you that know him, says Forest Grove is the way to go).
Call Tex if you have specific questions.
I'll probably go out on Sunday as I have done NO serious pistol shooting for quite some time.
If I remember correctly it goes something like "front sight---Press".
If I can get that part down again, I"ll move back to 7 yards. .

THAT'S great news. While Pitcairn is closer to where I live, I'm glad to see the range open back up. I used to be a member there and would sometimes go shoot at lunch time.

Re: Greater Pitt Re-opening this weekend
I'm going to call Tex tomorrow morning, and if all is well I'll be out there Sunday with some friends.

Fantastic news! Any web site/officers from GPGC got any info they can add as far as if the rules/rates are still the same?
Thanks,
