Navy to Correct Swastika Bldg
Our tax dollars at work! How did this get built in the first place?

WoW! A building built in the shape of the ancient sacred Hindu and Buddhist symbol that has been dated all the way back to the Neolithic age! Source
How neat is that?==============
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

Re: Navy to Correct Swastika Bldg
You got that one right, Diego. This is so much bullcrap that it isn't even funny. The building itself was built over 40 years ago and because it can now be seen when you're flying directly over it people are raising hell. Thanks for wasting our tax dollars you whiny shits!

I agree that it's crazy to waste tax money on this now, but I have to shake my head in disbelief that it ever happened in the first place.

Re: Navy to Correct Swastika Bldg
I rather doubt that anyone even thought about it at the time the building was built. It isn't like most people walk around thinking "Does that building look like a swaztika from above?" This is just more bs from a bunch of folks looking for something to bitch about. [SARCASM] Either that or it is another government conspiracy to make us accept racist, anti-semetic propaganda.[/SARCASM]

Re: Navy to Correct Swastika Bldg
As the designer said on one of the news channels...it's four "L" shaped buildings...that's all.
To do anything to hide the "Swasika" is a total waste of taxpayer dollars. Obviously, some folks just got way too much time on their hands...

Re: Navy to Correct Swastika Bldg
Correct it? Its over 40 years old. The only thing in the future of a building that old is to demolish it and build something new. Save the taxpayer money and ignore it.
