    Default .45 auto non existent?

for some reason hardly no Walmarts have .45 acp in stock. There is the mega 250 rd packs on occasion. but no Federal white boxes. I lucked out and just got the last two boxes at Century III. I was up at Cranberry earlier today and nope nothing.

any advice on where to get .45 acp for decent price?

The Walmart in Robinson usually has stock, although minimal. Mostly Winchester 100 round for a decent price (I can't remember off the top of my head). I usually stop every couple of weeks and empty them out.

The Gander Mountain in Robinson also usually has stock, but pricey.

That Century III walmart is hands down the worst I have been to for ammo. The one in washpa is much better, but out there a ways. Even the small one in Bethel Park is much much better.

A Mercer Co. PA Wal-mart as of 30 minutes ago had around two dozen boxes of 9mm, and .40S&W, but only 1 50 ct. box of .45ACP.

Dunham's North Hills has UMC mega packs if you're looking for range ammo. 20% off right now so it's pretty cheap.

Ammo is hit or miss around here and I suspect everywhere else. I found a box of 250 federal fmj's at dunhams in monroeville for $112. I thought it was a good deal as I coudn't find jack anywhere else. Then the following week I was at ACE down in Washington, they had the same stuff for $89. Searched for weeks prior to with no luck...

I just spent the last five months on the road traveling for work.

.45 ACP is pretty damn hard to find at most Wal Marts across the country. I got lucky in TN and happened to be in a Wally when they were stocking the shelves and bought four WWB 100 round value packs. Otherwise from OK, OH, NC, TX, and WA .45 ACP was pretty hard to come by in large quantities.

That is not the case for 9mm, .40, and .38. .380 is still pretty hard to find in volume although it is more available than it seemed to be a year ago. .22lr bulk packs were overflowing in TX and I snatched quite a few of those up.
