Rock Island 12ga Shotgun
Does any one have one of these, I like the look of them but if I'm going to buy this kind of shotgun I want one I can trick out. Anyone know if Mossberg or Remington parts will fit this gun?

Re: Rock Island 12ga Shotgun
From their looks it appears to be a Mossberg copy. You probably could go to the Armscor site (RIA's parent Co.) and send them an email. So far, I've only dealt with their 45ACP's (which I am very impressed with).

I was going to go to the armscore website but Google told me not to, they have been uploading mal-ware.

First sorry for the necropost, But does anyone know what model mossberg pistol grip fits these things? I bought a stock mossberg pistol grip that does not fit.

Re: Rock Island 12ga Shotgun
I was doing some research on YouTube (since I just purchased one of these) and found that the Rock Island M5 is basically the same as the Mossberg 500. I just bought a 6 position stock and am going to try it. Hopefully it fits but from what the video showed, it will.

Re: Rock Island 12ga Shotgun
So here's the update. The Rock Island M5 is NOT similar to the Mossberg 500. I bought a tactical upgrade from Amazon and it did not fit. I called the manufacture and spoke to one of the technical guys and he said that "he heard" that the Remington 1100 stocks would fit so I will be buying one of them next.
I will update more when I get it.

Re: Rock Island 12ga Shotgun
The R.I.A. M5 is a copy of the High Standard Flite-King. While some of the parts may interchange between a Mossberg 500 and the M5, they are most definitely different shotguns.
Example: I have a J.C. Higgens M20, later known as the High Standard 200, and the shell lifter, mag tube, and ejector screw all appear to be identical to their Mossberg 500 counterparts, despite being manufactured by different companies.
Also, a Mossberg 500 forend and Mossberg 500 buttstock both fit the M20 with a little fitting.
So some aftermarket parts may work, but you'll probably burn some time and money hand-fitting/returning items to find parts that fit.
