Ah the freedom
Well, I'm all moved in at the new place in Hanover, PA (Adams County side). Two trips with the 26' Penske (you accumulate a lot of stuff in 11 years at the same place) and another trip with the truck to get my boat and we are finally settled in. It is so different being able to put on the holster and firearm when I walk out of the house (have my VA non-resident permit). When I would travel up here before had to case the gun in the trunk, put the ammo in a separate case, mags unloaded, drive to PA, pull over, load up, etc etc. What an amazing difference. Once I get my driver license this week I'll go to Gettysburg and put in my paperwork for my PA LTCF (had to get a copy of my SSN card to get my PA DL). Glad I had the Virginia permit to hold me over.
As soon as I pick out an acceptable open carry holster I want to get my feet wet with that. Any of you OC guys ready to lend a little morale support the first time out?
Sorry I missed the lunch in Littlestown last week, the move was exhausting by the time we had everything done on Saturday.
Any good local places to drop a 17' Nitro 700 bass boat? I looked at the lake in Cordorus Park but they are limited to 25HP, I have a 75HP on mine. I guess I could just run off the trolling motor, just can't crank up the Merc?

I didn't notice any "shantys" all the houses look pretty decent to me. Then again, I'm not too picky unless its made of cardboard and pallets.

Freedom feels good don't it? I'm willing to OC with you wherever you wanna go. That is my carry method 99% of the time. Sometimes I just feel like CC. Let me know what you like to do and we'll go. If not, keep your eye on the adams county section. I'm gonna try to put a lot of meetings together this spring/summer.

Glad to hear the move went well. I can't wait to get into my new house. It should only be another month or so. Welcome to PA and freedom.

Yah, I'm in the development but shhh, I'm renting, didn't buy one. Just sold my house in Pasadena, MD which sat on the market for 2 years. I'm in no hurry to purchase another one just yet.

Re: Ah the freedom
Not a bad plan. If you can buy in this market though, the prices ain't too bad. I still rent myself even though I'm one of those "rich self employed guys" the government loves to tax.
So, should I post another outing in Littlestown in the next couple of weeks, or should we move the location this time? I'm all ears... or eyes at this point I guess.Proud 3%er... We'll fight for your rights, even when you won't.
