PA took my LTCF. i stopped by the sheriffs dept to see about getting it returned. I got a look of disgust from the guy who issues them. Im ranked right up there with rapists and murders apparently. all it takes is one cop to say I did something and he didn't like it...now im fucked.

take note and learn from my mistakes.

i spoke with the sheriffs office. they would've made me look like an ass in court. just went on my gut feeling with that. i didn't appeal but once my year is up and i reapply and they deny me based on this case, i will appeal that and most likely win.

when they revoke you, they send a letter to the PSP and when Utah researches you, that's who they contact. well my revocation letter indicates that i am a danger to others. I fuck small children and murdered my grandmother in her sleep.

Does that mean it never got officially revoked but someone just keeps it in his personal drawer?

If so, that's the number one reason to carry a copy and keep the original at home inside the safe. I'll surrender it when I have the official revocation notice in hand.

From what I recall from all the other posts, you were trying very hard to BE SAFE and not let some untrained cop forcably take your weapon and risk an accidental discharge.

This sounds like a "defamation of character" case to me....but IANAL.

Complete and total bull. What ever happened to the right to a "fair and speedy trial"? They seem to be dragging their feet regardless, and they also seem to be holding a grudge because they are in the wrong. I don't have much experience in this case. So I really can't offer any solid advice, even though I wish I could. Just know that if you need anything I can provide, let me know.

I just checked my Docket record and there is still no court date set for the DC charges.

So much for the right to a speedy trial. I guess if they can disregard your second amendment rights, the sixth amendment is no biggie either.
