From the headline I imagine that the reporter and/or the editor believe carry in bars is illegal in PA.

the article said that the suspect did not possess a LTCF with his concealed gun, which means that he was indeed breaking the law.

i will concede that the wording of the headline was poor, however.

while I don't think that carrying without a holster is a good idea, in fact I think it's a retarded idea, making this assumption makes you look like an ass. There are members here who choose to carry this way, and unfortunately I've got a relative who carries his pps this way.

So should this DiCristina fellow just have said "No" when asked if there was anything the police should know about? I do not condone carrying a firearm in an illegal manner but I would think in that situation (carrying illegally) that its best not to spill the beans to the police.

I agree. Since he was probably going to get mixed up in something anyways, lying to the cop would be the least of his worries. Saying NO might have worked. ( Doubt it )

lol My friends and I go there a lot for the wings. We used to go to O'Malley's in Allentown, but after it was shut down started going to McGrady's. That place is a shit hole, but the food is really good.
