    Default AR bolt stop

When I use Pmags in my AR it wont stop the bolt after last round fired but if i use a USGI mag it does Its almost like the spring in the Pmag is not strong enough to push the bolt stop up and they are brand new mags. Any input would be appreciated.

How freely does your bolt-stop pivot? I remember at least one that needed the slightest touching-up to not drag in the slot. Bolt-stop spring pressure + binding could be just enough to stop it from working.

What color ar the followers in the pmags, are they the newer pmags or older. They used to have some follower issues, I don't 'think' thats your problem but you never know. Maybe take the upper off and try to see exactly why it's not working. (not pushing up hard enough or maybe not touching bolt stop at all.)

Hmmm, strange.....Do you ever get any failure to feed malfunctions? I am wondering if your rounds are powerfull enough to strip a round out and cycle, but not enough to get the bolt far enough back to latch. Although you did say that usgi mags work fine. Do all of your pmags do this, meaning all of your usgi are gtg and all of your pmags malfunction?

Seems strange, the pmags are pretty bulletproof.

Still waiting for the OP to say if only one of the pmags or all of them do it. If it's just one, I'll buy it, but many? Seems more of a rifle problem if that is the case. <shrug>
