Stevens 12 GA punp shotgun

I saw a Stevens 12 Ga. pump shotgun the other day and I really liked it, but I unfortunately did not get more info on it. It was an older shotgun and I'd like to find out what it is and maybe purchase one (if I can find one).

It sort of looked like the Stevens 520 trench shotgun like this one: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...=159588966#PIC, but it didn't have the heat shield, bayonet lug, etc. It also had a short barrel like this one but didn't have the butt pad, the semi-pistol grip part of the stock was really round, not quite as "pointy" as this one.

Anyone know what this shotgun might be?

Kept searching and I eventually found an ad for a longer barreled version of the shotgun I saw. Apparently it is a 520, with probably around a 20" barrel. Here is the ad: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3.../No5201912.jpg

I believe this is what you are looking for. Bought it a few years ago at a pawn shop. It has an 18" barrel.

Hard to find ANY info on Stevens shotguns - I understand the 520 is supposed to be a great and very under rated shotgun that is not expensive - there is no collector interest and ther prices are still reasonable....

I have been trying to find info on them because I am buying a later model Stevens 67E in a slug gun configuration.

Evidently even Savage has little info on old Stevens guns.
