NEED HELP ABOUT BUYING A GUN ONLINE AT galleryofguns.com
Let me know if anyone has ever bought a gun on this web site. u pick a gun store near your home and they send it to them. It has the price of the gun then tax then it says additional fees all listed... my questions is do you still have to pay a ffl fee when you pick up the gun? thanks for your help? Just trying to find out if it worth buying on line or not......

yes. you still have to pay the transfer fee at your dealer. Buying online is the best way to insure that you get the gun you want, rather than constantly checking your local shops.

Re: NEED HELP ABOUT BUYING A GUN ONLINE AT galleryofguns.com
I just bought a handgun from Gallery of Guns last month. The shop was asking $575 plus tax/FFL on the Gallery of Guns site. Then I went to the shop and saw their price ($675) in the store. They declined to match their online price when I was there in person, so I just ordered it online. The store didn't care.
It was a very easy transaction, took about 3 days from online order to pickup in the store.

Also make sure the gun shop/ffl holder you're having it sent to is ok with doing the transfer. Also check cost. Some guy once told me he paid Gander Mountain $75.00 for a transfer once. Ouch. If you can find some place that'll do it for $20-$30.00 that's average at least in my area.

Re: NEED HELP ABOUT BUYING A GUN ONLINE AT galleryofguns.com
I have Bought multitudes of firearms through Davidsons and have always been happy with their service. I have mine transferred to Dave at Lone wolf gun shop. He's located out of Newcastle PA. I just pay the PICS fee (the transfer) of five bucks and I am on my way.
Like the other people said, you get a choice of which one you would like. 3 days go by and I pick it up. Also Davidsons gives you the tracking info and I like that. Prices cannot be beat. Good luck!
