Best slugs for smooth bore
What kind of slugs do you guys recommend for a smooth bore 20ga? I was looking at Brenneke,Remington and Federal. What kind of accuracy do you get at 50-100yrds? Brenneke says 2in groups at 50 yrds, sound reasonable? Any info would be appreciated, Thanks.

Re: Best slugs for smooth bore
You need to try a bunch in your shotgun off of the bench rest and see which shoots best. My 12 ga. Rem 870 shooots best with 2 3/4 in Rem sluggers. Brenneke slugs never shot good out of this gun. Grab a couple boxes of each and give it a go!

Buy all you can find and compare them to the Brenneke.
Skip the KO's and go for the classic or Black magic. I have shot 3" 5 shot groups at 50yrds with the BM from a rest.

My Mossberg likes Winchester (under 5 inches for 3 @100) but as others have said, you gotta find what your gun likes.
