Smith and Wesson SW40F need help
ok so i got a SW40F from my pap when he passed away i love the gun but i hate the frame because it feels like plastic and i hate the gap is there any metal ones out there that i can get for it ? i tried to find one but i turned up with nothing

As far as I know there is no metal replacement.

No ,the FRame IS the Gun, it is the "registered" part thats why the serial number is on the frame not the slide, the SIGMA is an excellent gun as is , it wont let you down, and dont wory about the gap between frame and slide the Sigma doesnt ride on the plastic frame it rides on stainless steel rails inserted into the frame just like a Glock, the trigger is not as nice as a Glock but Wollf sells a $10.95 spring kit that gives iyt a sweet trigger pull.
All polymer striker fired guns have a gap between slide and frame, the only Pistols that donrt have a gap is the CZ's and its copies because of the unique slide design.
JUst enjoy your Dad's gun and ignore the the BS
