Wasr-10 AK-47 .22 conversion
Since I'm a bit of a newbie to the whole thing I was wondering if anyone knows if a Ciener .22 conversion for the AK 47 will work in the Wasr-10.

I don't see why it wouldn't work in a WASR-10, although their site is a bit light on the specs. It almost definately needs to be modified to accept double stack magazines.
With dealing with the barrel sleeve and whatnot, I'd also consider the WASR-22 as well (a .22 caliber WASR-10, basically)... I've seen them for as low as $175, fairly close to the price of a Ciener kit.

Re: Wasr-10 AK-47 .22 conversion
I have a Ciener AK kit. I was lucky to find one used even though the mag has been bubba'd. It would not fit in my Yugo AK....to tight. But it did fit in a WASR. It functioned well but since the mag also helps with the side ejection...I had to shoot with the top cover off...which was kinda freaky having cases eject over your head. Obviously that didn't last long. I got a deal on a WASR .22 and if you can find them $175 jump on it. Dunhams did carry them for $270. Places sell them online for $250 plus shipping and transfer.
