IDPA Shoot at Chambersburg Pistol & RC
Chambersburg Pistol & Rifle Club will be having its first IDPA shoot of 2010 on Saturday April 17th. Cost is $10.
For anyone unfamiliar with IDPA, you shoot stages of 6 to 18 shots at paper targets based upon possible "real-world" self-defense scerarios.
We will have 6 stages ranging from 6 shots to 15 shots. Several steel poppers will be used. Figure on shooting 100 rounds of ammo. Bring holster, 2 spare mags or speedloaders, and cover (vest, jacket)
Set-up will be 8 AM to 9 AM, registration 9 AM to 9:30AM. New shooter safety class will be at 9:15 AM. Match should start at 9:45 AM
Directions to club:Exit 14 on Interstate 81 (pa 316 exit), turn left at traffic light. At last traffic light, turn left onto Garber Road and travel 0.7 mile to stop sign. At the stop sign you turn left onto Cider Press Road. At the stop sign you will notice a white house and many white outbuildings. The entrance to Chambersburg Pistol & Rifle Club is just past the last building on the right. I will warn you it is not clearly marked. The number is 1620 Cider Press Road.
