    Lightbulb Moving

Ok, I just got my LTCF about 3ish months ago for York county. Right now I'm in the process of moving (permanently) to Carbon county. Do I need to go up to the courthouse and get a new LTCF issued w/ Carbon county and my new address? I already have my change of address papers for my drivers license, so I was wondering what if anything I need to do w/ the LTCF.

And yes I did use the search option but nothing came up.

Nevermind, I found the answer on google that linked right back to these forums. No need until it expires. Again google searches these forums better then the forum search...

Here is what the Chester County Sheriff says...

    Firearm Licensing: Frequently Asked Questions

    Q. Should I notify the Sheriff's Office if my address changes?

    A. YES. You should call the Firearms Unit (344-6984) if your address changes, or send us a change of address card. Your renewal will be sent to you in the mail prior to the expiration date on your license. Please check your license to make sure the address on it is correct.

No need to change it until it expires, but you should inform the issuing sheriff of your new address, in case he needs to contact you concerning your LTCF.
