    Default Knob Creek

It's that time of the year. My son and myself are taking a family trip to the shoot this weekend. My other son, daughter in law and my granddaudfter are coming in from San Diego and meeting us there. It will be the first time any of us have been there. We had talked about it for years. Looks like a good weekend weather wise.
From what I've heard the Creek has been known to rise. Any others going down? We plan on spending Sat. Hope to see you there.

Do NOT miss the night shoot! It is incredible! Get a good spot to watch early, while it is still light. Standing right next to the fence, on top of the cafeteria roof, and the bleachers are all good spots. Don't forget ear protection for all - it will be noisy!

That definitely looks like one of the best parts!

I want to go down sometime... I keep telling myself "this year", but it never happens. I really want to get down there sometime though!

Go to the rental range and look the the right. There is normaly a "Jungle Walk"
You pay $15-20, get a full auto Uzi and two mags, walk down a trail where they have steel plates set up/kinda hidden through the woods. They time you just to see how quick you did, but its not a big deal so dont worry about. Just have fun.

The rental range prices are extremly high, but if you want to shoot something full auto that you think will never get the chance to do, might as well try it.

If you get a chance, drive up the road toward Fort Knox and check out the Patton Museum. Well worth the trip alone.
