NW Pa Omnivore Extravaganza in the works...
Leonardo's Restaurant
1267 Liberty Street, Franklin, PA 16323-1377
(814) 432-8421
Leonardo's does not accept reservations. However, they will attempt to reserve a section in the center if we call ahead. I told them it would most likely be dinner.
I next need to consider people's schedules, my schedule and Leonardo's. I think they are closed on Sunday and Monday like a barber...I'll have to double check...damn memory.
I told them 6-12 maximum will attend so try to drum up some interest. Don't worry if it gets big, we can always fall back to Hoss'.
Time: 7:00 pm (19:00). This is to allow someone far away to attend on a weekday.
The date looks tiny in the header so: Tuesday, 11MAY10.

Re: NW Pa Omnivore Extravaganza in the works...
Hoss' was great last time (Thanks Hoss) but I like going to different places and the choices are not many here. The other Cranberry has 100s of restaurants but I commute there for work.
I am thinking Leonardo's this time. They are cramped/small but good food. If our group gets big we may have to rule them out. Price is good, quality is really good.
An alternate would be Bonanza. I always preferred Bonanza over Ponderosa, even for the TV series! Open to other suggestions as well.
I know we have Eat n Park and Kings but they seem too 'prepared' foods type though I do eat there sometimes. It is you. You have all the weapons that you need. Now fight. --Sucker Punch

I am in. Lets get some thoughts on known restaurants.
Cranberry/seneca:
Arbys
Hoss's
McDonalds
Subway
Bob Evans
Wendys
Vally Dairy
Log Cabin
The Villa
Franklin:
Mcdonalds
Burger King
Long John Silvers
Bonanza
Kings
Eat 'n' Park
Then a few places on liberty street. I don't like seafood, aside from that I'm golden. And my schedule is clear, unless anyone knows a place that is looking for employees that pays halfways decent.

Leo's is good but very crowded, especially on weekends. Getting reservations for a large group may be hard.
Oh well, Hoss's was very accommodating for the last outing and we didn't have any incidents with the sheeple, and I'm always up for a steak.
